Marine electrical solutions
The Gh70e marine automotive gantry crane with a capacity of 65t is the first of our electrical models.

• A hub of high performance lithium-ion batteries with a 10-year guarantee ensures autonomy for a complete workday, and the integrated charger means the model can be recharged easily.
• GH believes in sustainability, and an autonomous solar panel support system meets up to 20% of daily energy requirements.
• Variable light improves efficiency in dry-docking boats of different breadth, while electronic control provides complete versatility of movement.

Industrial electrical solutions
Electric industrial automotive gantry cranes also support sustainability in that they share the same essential features of their marine counterparts: high performance lithium-ion batteries with a 10-year guarantee and charger.

• The three standard versions are: single girder, double girder and U-shaped. These options provide flexibility to the sector.
• Variable gantry height is achieved with telescopic legs to facility the entry of equipment into industrial facilities, with no emissions or leaks, thus providing the necessary efficiency in day-to-day operations.
• The modular batteries included provide autonomy for a complete workday, depending on the specific usage by each client.

Today we want to show you one of our latest facilities in United Kingdom made for our client Sheffield Forgemasters International Ltd: an open winch on a double girder overhead crane with auxiliary hoist and a lifting capacity of 80/20 t.

Sheffield Forgemasters is a heavy engineering firm located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The company specializes in the production of large bespoke steel castings and forgings, as well as standard rolls, ingots and bars. Sheffield Forgemasters traces its origins to a 1750.

The company specializes in forged and cast steel components for the defense, engineering, nuclear, offshore, petrochemical, and steel processing industries worldwide.

Sheffield Forgemasters currently has the capacity for pouring the largest single casting (570 tons) in Europe. The two forging presses in use can exert a pressure of 4,500 tons and 10,000 tons on a billet of steel. The 4,500-ton press was installed in 2010 to replace a 1,500-ton press which dated back to 1897 and was originally steam powered, and after several upgrades became hydraulically operated.

GH, through our oldest official partner in the United Kingdom, Professional lifting Services, LTD (http://www.plsltd.co.uk) has supplied several cranes to Sheffield Forgemasters since early 2000 and the last year has supplied several cranes for this great company in the United Kingdom.

Hoy queremos mostraros nuestro destacado trabajo en el Parque de Proveedores del Sector de la Automoción situado en la provincia Ávila. La obra, propiedad de la Junta de Castilla y León – Instituto de competitividad empresarial (ICE), busca fomentar el empleo en la región a través del impulso del sector automovilístico, con una inversión total de 26 millones de €

Tras muchos meses de trabajo previo, actualmente nos encontramos inmersos en la fase de obra. Como veis en la fotos, ya hemos instalado en las naves del parque algunas de las enormes grúas que conforman el proyecto.

La operación comprende el siguiente alcance de suministro:

• Grúas de altas prestaciones y con un alto nivel de solicitación, para desarrollar trabajos en fábrica de estampación.
  • 3 Puentes Grúa birrailes de 50 Tn y 40,12 m de luz. Grupo de trabajo A-8 M-6. Velocidad elevación: 6 m.p.m. Velocidad carro: 50 m.p.m. Velocidad traslación grúa: 80 m.p.m. 
  • 2 Puentes Grúa Birrailes de 50/32 Tn y 40,12 m de luz. Grupo de trabajo A-8 M-6. Velocidades estándar.
• Longitud naves: 
  • 1 – 189 m ( 2 grúas de 50 y 1 de 50/32 Tn)
  • 2 – 162 m ( 1 grúas de 50 y 1 de 50/32 Tn)
• Otras 3 grúas de menor entidad para trabajos auxiliares (Scrap, Taller ILM, Taller PQA).
