The normal headroom single girder configuration, is the traditional solution in single girder cranes when space under beam is not important. This configuration is suitable for 1/1 and 2/2 reevings hoists.
Another relevant use is in cranes with load transfer between halls.
Wheels can be flat or angled to suit different type of bottom flanges and running profiles, to improve behavior and increase duration.

The modular design of the new hoist, can be used as much as possible of the structure in the assembly of different compositions of the hoist, such as the arrangement of the rope falls (4/1, 2/1, 4/2, etc. ), or the length of the drum, even in a second motor installation.
Early in 2014 GH decided to make a new investment in our current facilities in Chicago to reinforce our commitment to the American market.
This investment of $1.3 million includes land and a new building that will be operational in the first quarter of 2015.
The building’s dimensions are 53X24m (175’x80’) and will house our spare parts inventory for North America. This facility will also provide a location for after-sales support for all GH products. Sigue leyendo
